Well, I won’t lie to you, i really burnt myself out. I was working on a tight schedule which just bored me and caused me to loose interest. I’m proud of my work, but it became more of a chore than fun to write. So i took a break. And continued to take a break, and it became more of a retirement after a bit.
maybe i’ll come back, maybe i won’t. Depends on what happens, but i’ll try :)

I’m okay, and working. However things are piling up, and i’ve got a big senior research paper, keeping my social life, and basic homework to balance. I value those things more so writing has been put to the back burner. i apologize for my absence

I take it all as compliments, yes, but I literally get twenty comments a day about it.
Yes. My fanfic and Passerine share vague similar themes, such as family and royalty. And Sapnap is the villain. But other than that I really don’t see the familiarities.
Though I really don’t mind that much, it’s just a bit of a annoyance. If you see someone talk about passerine, you don’t have to go out of your way to tell them to stop.
Next Chapter will be out soon, possibly today. Don’t get your hopes up though. It’s only half way written and it takes hours to write and edit. I’ll also talk about this at the end of the next chapter.

@pigloft I've only read the first chapter of passerine but I know the main points of the plot and I don't really see the similarities past the royalty au
I'm currently working on rewriting the final chapter which needed a rework, War. I apologize for my absence but I was on vacation with my family.
Beside that, I Wasn't Born to be Royalty is nearing it's end, with the rest of the chapters already planned out. I've got in mind a new book, or a sequel to it. I'm not sure which I'd like to do yet, but I may step down from writing a royalty Au for a bit, considering I've been writing it for seven months now.
War will be updated tonight, and then I'll be working on a new chapter which will continue the story.
