@kellyeleisha12 I get what the topic is, but do you think the topic could just be sorrow? It seems that the "A Path of Sorrow" is too specific and harder to explain.

@kellyeleisha12  here it is

            A path of Sorrow

            Sad fragile heart begins to beat faster
            For it knows its heading for disaster.
            Eyes fixed into nothing,softly they stare,
            Wondering why nobody seems to care

            Like rustling leaves abandoning trees
            Who gave them permission to set free,
            Virgin silent tears seeps through wrinkled bark,
            Hidden only when horizons become dark

            Evading towards the path known as sorrow
            Unsure of what could happen tomorrow
            When lies become truth, there can be no trust
            As broken promises vanish like dust.

            This sullen demeanour , as no fear of death ,
            Just the pain it will feel until my last breath.

I am officially changing the topic of the third contest. I realize the topic now is a bit hard to weave into poetry. The new topic is PAIN. This one to me seems easier so I'm going to leave the deadline and if you still want to do the original topic, go right ahead!

*Edit* Contest four. Not three. Sorry for the confusion.
