kinda need some writing advice.
i’m currently writing a john casey x female! oc book (her name is ashley castellanos), and i’m probably only a chapter in. it’s set so they both are, or were, married, and something happened that brought them both away from each other (not spoiling lol) and the book i’m writing currently is what happens after that.
however, i kind of want to write what their relationship was like before that. so, do i make a prequel book for their relationship now, do i make it so i dedicate an act to it in my current book, or do i wait till i’ve finished the book i’m currently writing and publish the prequel then?
i really have no clue.

@angierona that’s what i was kinda thinking tbh!! it doesn’t like spoil anything for before the book and it’s easier to do

i feel like the only thing that’s NOT fun about making oc’s is the appearance bit. like, i would much rather get onto the relationships, lore, personality and fandom specifics bits. like i just want the appearance to be out the way with. maybe that’s why my oc is taking so long to get out. i just can’t be bothered to write it.

@quanxiis ME TOO, Like I used to worry so much and stress about writing appearances. But now I've given up and I write the simplest descriptions possible, you don't need to worry about appearances too much anyways, it won't effect too much !!<3
