@quizzlers personally one thing i would love to see more of in romantic relationships is diving more into different forms of intamacy. you usully see a lot of sex/physical intamacy, but i love seeing less talked about forms. small mindless acts of service, nonverbal communication, knowing someone inside and out, non sexual exploring each others bodies, seeing something random and silly and it reminding you of that person, drawing someone from memory, etc.

as an aroace person while i do enjoy reading about romantic relationships it can get irritating when the most intimacy two characters share is sex and kissing every few paragraphs. im so down bad for delving into deeper intimacy

Oh, I have a list of things I hate:

          	  Miscommunication.
Extreme amounts of smut (all smut no plot)
When relationships move too fast, like one month in and suddenly the couple in moving in together and are getting married.
Suprise pregnancy (especially when they find out there pregnant a day after having sex).
When the romance partner is literally the worst person ever , like walking red flag levels of bad .
Those 'fated mates' stories, idk they give me the ick. The same goes with soulmate stories.
When the couple explicitly say they don't want to get married or have kids , are married, and have a bunch of kids in the epilogue.
Gross age gaps, I'm all for well written age gap stories, but when one is barely legal and the other is like ten years away from being recognised as a senior citizen.
In the same vein as age gaps, the stories about 100+ year old vampires falling in live with high-school students.
Cheating, it's not hot or sexy, no matter how an author tries to paint it.
Love 'triiangles', like it's not a triangle, it's a corner, and almost always both options fucking suck.
Time skips, this is just a general pet peeve of mine, like I'm okay with it normally but instead of it being written in a way that feels natural it's just SIX MONTHS LATER on a page.
Forced relationships, or more specifically when the characters don't have ANY chemistry together, are put in a relationship.
When unhealthy relationships are presented as healthy and normal.
When the male lead does something completely fucking creepy and weird but it's played off as sweet and nice and was obviously written by a man because no women would think that that is sexy or hot or sweet when it's just creepy and stalker-ish and scary ( think fifty first dates )

          	  Sorry this was so long.

While I don't like agnst, I'll tolerate it if I'm already invested in the characters like mid-book. I adore enemies to lovers (especially the sass between the two during that period) and I adore friends to lovers. Slow burns are sweet, but sometimes too slow... I feel like they just gotta take charge of their own lives at times.

Oh! I also dislike reading about abuse, self-hurt, and depression unless it ACTUALLY has something to do with the story. Plenty of authors use those tropes without either fully understanding what it does to a character or without implementing its effects on their daily life.

just reread huffily puffily again! been a silent reader since 2021 n even when i deleted wattpad due to inactivity i would revisit/had huffily on my mindddddd. just want to let u know how many people you've reached and inspired with your writing, huffily inspired me to try to pursue writing because i was just obsessed with how you've written lucy (sometimes rereading hp i half expect her to show up lol, she fits in with the trio so well i forget it's fan fiction) and wanted to have a go at writing my own funny characters, and now it's something i'm looking to do professionally. hope u are well!!!!! :)

I actually plan on doing this!! An AU where Lily and James raise Harry (still the boy-who-lived), and where Lucy is raised by her parent(s?). I haven’t come up with a title for it yet but I have some scenes for it ^^

I miss this story. This is all I have going for me mentally. The only reason I keep going is because I'll never know how huffily puffily ends. This has been a major help for me in the seven years it's been going. Obviously take all the time you need and such, but I hope you know how much you have touched mine, and everyone here's hearts

I am absolutely going to finish Huffily Puffily! Not a day goes by when I don’t think ofnit. Just kinda hard to write when you feel bogged down, sometimes I don’t feel like I’m as funny as I used to be. But mark my words I am trying!

Thank you for following this story for so long. I remember you were one of the first followers of Voldemort’s Pen Pal, it’s bery humbling to know you’ve been following this story for so long.

I hope your life is going well, and I will do my best to pump out an update when I am able to. Lots of positive vibes your way and I sincerely hope the rest of your year brings good things this way.

I have the ending already decided, it’s just the bits between that have me struggling to write. So much to fit in, yet I gotta make it consise. Thanks again for sticking around so long. I promise to finish this story, if not for all my readers, then for you specifically.

            Lots of Love,
