I was talking about when peaky blinders was set in 1920, not when this book was set in 2020 literally over 100 years ago. as somebody with autism and being mentally retarted (i have no shame in saying that bc i was HEAVILY bullied when i was younger, being called retarted constantly) i am going to defend the author who 3 YEARS AGO wrote something. and as much as u like to have a god complex and think ur such an amazing person for shaming them, maybe think about the fact in 2020 it was definitely normalised to call people that. it only became a slur that ppl cared abt in 2021-2022 if that. and im sure that u said some things 3 years ago so stop thinking of urself as some amazing person when ur not
