@Alizakhann2 hey, sorry for the ultra late response. No. I'm not abandoning the story.
I've been having a gigantic writer's block that play enormously to my lack of new chapter. Another reason is that I want to see how canon unfold first because by the time I released my newest chapter, there were so many things that haven't been answered, like the detective's identity who contacted William about her wife's whereabout, pretty much everything about Specter, and the higher-ups from authorities who put John's mom as experiment subject.
Suffice to say, a lot of these mysteries remain mysteries even now. If I go on my way, there would be many inconsistencies with canon in the future and I kinda want to avoid it. In fact, there's already inconsistency with canon in my story, which is Healing and Regeneration being general labels for all medic-type abilities. Not long after I released that chapter, a guy from other school with tether healing Ability appeared in canon, namely in amusement park causing trouble with his gang.
As for now, I suppose I will bank up some chapters and continue to observe how the canon plays out. I can't say for certain when the next chapter is released though. Hope this answer satisfies you.
