Manna is a book I've been working on for the past seven years. I began writing while working as a translator, but eventually took a leap of faith-leaving that path behind to fully commit to finishing this story.

It's a book I'm writing for my daughter, Zoey, who also happens to be the main character of the novel. The two share many traits. I made a conscious effort to reflect the real Zoey's spirit-her stubbornness, her fire, her heart-into the character on the page.

I'm now a father of two daughters, the youngest born just two months ago. And to be honest, the weight of my responsibilities-as a father, a husband, a provider-presses on me every day. I carry deep doubts. I wonder if the path I've chosen will be enough. Will this story resonate? Will it help support the people I love most?

Still, I made this choice because I spent too much of my life not pursuing what truly mattered to me. That's not the kind of life I want to pass down to my daughters. I want them to see someone who tried. Who believed. Who created-despite fear and uncertainty.

If Manna isn't well-received, I'm prepared to take on other work to provide for my family. That will always come first. But no matter what happens, I will continue writing-because it's part of who I am.

Thank you for reading. And thank you for being here.
