R.e.Bruce

I am R.E.Bruce (aka Rebekah Esther Bruce). I was born in the west Midlands (Dudley) UK. I emigrated to Canada in 2011 with my mom, dad and 3 sisters at 9 years old. My family moved around a lot, so we were never settled and always in limbo. My father was never satisfied with his jobs and homes, so he relocated us like a dozen times. He worked for Airbus and Boeing as an aerospace engineer. He even worked on the Boeing 797.
As a child I loved to read and write. 7 years old, I started writing my own fantasy tales. My sisters and I were all homeschooled up until high school. We originally went to primary School in UK; but were bullied. In 2016, I attended public high school here in Canada. 
As a home-schooled child, we didn't get much social life, so I loved to write and create worlds of my own that didn't exist. I always knew I wanted to become a writer, I still hope that dream will be fulfilled, but I'm working on that process. My sisters and I made our own writing club at home, so to speak. I was the leader of it (trust me I am no leader in real life). We created books, and short movies on our digital cameras.
As I got older I struggled mental health issues, one being an eating disorder which I thankfully recovered from in 2018 from the experienced professionals and supportive family. I am still working on myself now, but I feel some of it can be a blessing in disguise, I have learned so much. I currently do not live at home with my parents, it didn't work out. Writing is one of my biggest ways to cope and help my self esteem. Right now, I feel less than everyone else; but give me a chance world!
