A white wolf bounded into the clearing and approached the cliff overlooking the city as she sniffed out the person she had never met.
          Gilbert.
The name stuck with her as she had seen a notification on her phone and wanted to meet the person. She saw a car and excitedly leaned on the door, hoisting herself up to peer inside, looking for the owner.

Far in the distance, a silhouette could be seen walking towards you, while an owl vigilantly circled overhead. Once the figure closed a large majority of the distance, one would be able to assume it was a young female only in her mid 20’s. A humorless expression adorned her unnaturally immaculate face, yet did not diminish it. Long, fiery hair whipped behind her in the wind as golden eyes scoured the land for someone in specific. She was wearing her usual dark emerald blouse, black leggings, and no shoes. The elf had also chosen to wear her dagger on her right hip but left her bow and arrows at her home.

The mention of where the car came from sent a small pang through Gilbert’s chest and caused his face to contort before relaxing once more. He slid off of the hood of the car only to lean his back against the driver’s side window, allowing her a better look at the El Camino’s impressive body. It was clearly very well taken care of, despite its age. “It was my mother’s”, he answered tersely. There was no way for him to skirt around the truth, and he saw no reason to do so anyways.

A rare smile graced Morwen’s face when he complimented her. “It means Dark Maiden, and it’s a pleasure to meet you Gilbert, no apologies needed.” She looked at the car curiously never really encountering one before, she prefers the country instead of the city. “This is a nice vehicle, where did you get it?” She asked curiously.

He did not miss the oddly pointed ears, and the male looked at the woman with a renewed interest. So, she was most likely not an Enchantress. Then what was she? “Morwen. Does that mean something?” He mused while his gaze was turned skyward, following the owl, before lowering back to the girl. “Apologies. I rarely meet new people... and certainly no one as beautiful as yourself. You can call me Gilbert.”
