I am eighteen years old. To sum it all up, I am an extrovert that enjoys travelling and making friends.
My main form of art is poetry, and I started writing when I was 15 years old. The first poem I presented was titled, "Who Am I?". It made me realise that I needed to heal and forgive. I had a difficult time with accepting myself because there was so much void in my life. I would put up a facade as I had no sense of belonging. I had a tough time with identifying myself, because all my life, I was told that I had to be someone that I was not. The mood of most of my poems are anger and sadness. I have tried to write happy poems, but they never turn out as good as the others. Writer's block hasn't been kind to me looking at the fact that I use sadness as a muse.
I have an anthology book entitled "Midnight Thoughts" that is currently being published. I started writing it because I was made a "mute" I was not allowed to express myself and this honestly bothered me. The book just tells how far I have come as a person. I do not allow the tragedies that I go through let me down or determine my future, but I learn from them.
I am on a journey to forgive those that woe me and I use poetry to heal my wounds.
