The upcoming chapter of His Captive Sorceress from last weekend has been delayed. I took a 24 hour flight this week to Texas to spend time with the in-laws, which disrupted my usual schedule. And I wasn't happy with the upcoming chapter and decided to rewrite it. Both these things have set me back, but I'm still working on it. :)

Today's update is going to be delayed by one day. I'm not quite happy with it yet.
Hi everyone. Chapter 45 is going to be delayed. Tomorrow is my anniversary, so the delay may exceed 24 hours.
For those wondering why this has been happening recently: Before I even published chapter 1 of this story, I had the first 42 chapters drafted and revised once. That meant they only needed a lighter second revision before publishing - easy to do twice a week.
Chapters 45 to 57 have been drafted but not revised, meaning that I have to do twice the amount of revision each week to keep up with the same publishing pace.
Plus I'm so excited to write chapter 57 & 58 that I've sometimes done that when I should've been revising chapter 44 and 45, leading them to creep up on me.
In summary - I'm dedicated to the story and am writing more than ever before each week, but this section of the book requires more work. Keeping this book regularly updated is still a high priority.

Thanks for the update, and happy anniversary! Take your time with revising, your stories are always amazing, and you update a lot more often than most authors on this app, so as long as you don’t decide to put the book on hold, I’m happy.
Chapter 44 is very long and it's taken longer to edit than I was expecting. It'll be delayed by 24 hours.

@summerlyne_ It's inspiring to publish on the day knowing there is someone waiting for it and expecting it on the day. I don't feel rushed. I committed to these publishing goals when starting the story and intend to stick to them. And I'm a guy, haha.

Today's update for His Stolen Sorceress (Chapter 40) is going to be delayed by 24 hours.
It's over double the length of normal chapters at 4000 words, so it's like writing two chapters. It's one of the most important chapters and one of my personal favourites, so I want to make sure it's right. I'm eager to publish it, and it just needs some more refinement.
Sorry about the delay to those who are waiting - I promise it'll be worth it.
