One thing ive noticed: in chapter 31 its revealed that N is behind the machine that turns people into pokemon, what exactly is his motive to do this here? I know his end goal (in the games atleast) is to liberate pokemon from humans but it seems that this is uh...a little extreme for a guy who wants pokemon to live peaceful and happy lives

I've always had my doubts about the machine that transforms a human to a Pokémon, like:
What happens to the pokémon's consciousness and soul after the machine has finished its work ?
Is the human body ultimately destroyed by the electric shocks or does the body simply stop functioning and die?

@riolu17 i really hope this gets expanded upon in the rewrite and the sequel sounds really interesting

@Jedaral It puts the "Pokemon" in a coma. They haven't figured out how to make the subconscious of a Pokemon into a human yet. Ultimately their goal is to obtain the power of Pokemon while maintaining the appearance of a human, thus leading to feats like super strength, speed, stamina, psychic ability, etc.
