ii. this anon will explore themes of bloodlust, addiction, and i am also changing things from canon such as this particular anon being a confederate’s son. i understand if other character anons want to acknowledge it but i will not. as a black woman any romanticization of the antebellum south makes me extremely uncomfortable and it was easily a plot that could be done away with and replaced with other points in history had julie plec and co. put any care into it.
