Sam Wyly is a businessman and author who has written several books on the subject of business, Texas, Dallas and the immigrant spirit. Wyly was born in Louisiana in 1933, but he considers himself a Texan through and through. After attending college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, he started his career as an entrepreneur and went on to found or co-found several companies.
