I am 30 years old, soon to be 31, and the only thing I have ever seriously known I wanted to be was an author. I'm an only child, and so I had to entertain myself in ways that did not include other children, so I created stories a lot of the time. I wasn't one of those girls who just played dress up with my dolls, no, I gave them each a full back story and they kept those stories for the entire time I played with them. They had different adventures every time I played with them, whether the adventure be fantasy, sci-fi, or what, it was different every time. That helped me decide that I want to create stories all my life - the only problem with that is I'm not terribly creative and doubt myself a lot, so I never finish any of my stories.. I found this website through trying to find something to help me with that. Hopefully it will help me. If not, well, I can be perfectly satisfied with reading as many of these awesome stories as I can.
