My name is Mariah boehl, and I am currently going to college to receive a Bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Multimedia Journalism and Creative Writing. With this degree, I plan on becoming a book editor. Editing has been a thing that I've always done, whether consciously or unconsciously, and it's been a passion of mine since forever.
I'd originally had a normal Wattpad account that I used only to read stories written by other accounts or to publish my own poetry. Recently though, I have decided to create another account dedicated solely to expanding my experience in editing books. So if you or a friend need a story edited, just PM me, and I'll edit it for you. My work as an editor on Wattpad will be completely FREE! There will be absolutely no charge for my services. Also, I'm not really picky about what stories I edit (I'll edit anything sent my way!). This being said, it doesn't matter what genre your story is or if it is completed or not.
I prefer to edit stories via email. All I'd need you to do is email me your story/chapter, and I'll edit it myself, then email the edited version back to you. I can be either a behind-the-scenes editor who will only edit your story/chapter and then send it back to you, or I can be a hands-on editor who will communicate with you as to understand the basics behind your plot, how you'd like your story to end, any plot holes that can affect readers' understanding/enjoyment of your story, the personalities you want your characters to inhabit and how to accomplish that, whether you want to have some leeway when it comes to grammar, etc. If you have any questions whatsoever, then all you have to do is PM me, and I'll try to respond back as fast as I can.
