I have watched the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary Reunion twice already and I know I will watch it again and again. It was such an emotional experience. Like going home and revisiting something that will live in my memory and heart forever. Hogwarts will always be there to welcome me, you, us home. It has made such an impact on me as a person and played a huge role in my life. It was the first series I fell in love with. The first Fanfiction I wrote that I was brave enough to allow others to read. It's my favorite place on Earth, Harry Potter Universal Orlando. It inspired elements of my engagement and wedding. I have made friends because of this series. I can’t explain to you why I needed the magic of Harry Potter in my life and why it's everything to me, but it just is and it always will be. After all this time. For the rest of my life. ♡

@_LookingAtStars_ I finally watched Dune and you were so right, it was amazing! Although I am with your Mom on the ending. I was a little disappointed with the ending, but I understand it will hopefully open up to a part two.

@shesaworkoffiction yip, me and my mum watched it 2 nights ago. Timothée was amazing, though I wish that we got to see more of Zendaya. My mum got kind of mad about the end, she's not really patient when it comes to writing for sequels. I'm hoping for Part 2! It's truly poetic.

Btw, when watching, make little mental notes because it really helps. It seems like things become more linked nesting the middle and end of the movie. I'm constantly checking up on word from the director and actors of a part 2 is going to be confirmed.

Not many people enjoy poetic and interlinked/entwined sci-fi's, like Dune for example. But this movie had totally changed the future for sci-fi movies. The graphics and graphic art and engineering used was phenomenal and mind blowing. The level and skill put into this, I can't even comprehend

I hope that you get to watch it soon. It's definitely worth that 8.3 star rating it for from imbd, but I'm rating it a 8.9 out of 10. It's definitely worth the wait

I want all of my followers and readers to be aware that Wattpad is the only writing platform I use. If you find my Fanfiction on any other website it is a form of plagiarism and is not actually me. I never thought that I would have to worry about this, but it is real and happens often.

To any Fanfiction writer's, I would really appreciate some insight and tips on an issue I am having... Have you ever written a chapter or several, published them and gotten tons of reads, only to realize that you absolutely hate those chapters and now you don't know how to move forward with new chapters in order to fix your mistakes?

shesaworkoffiction

@weaselb You have no idea how much I appreciate your response! ♡ I guess I felt like I shouldn't be making revisions when I haven't even completed the story yet... I am writing as I go. I have a general plot, but most chapters have not been pre-planned and I'm learning this isn't a great strategy. It may work for some people, but unfortunately with me it means there may be a new chapter in 2 weeks or it might be 3 months. I know this is frustrating for me and my readers, but for some reason I am really struggling with writer's block and how to move forward. I want to make my chapters mean more and be more plot centered rather than be filler chapters. However, I'm finding it difficult to develop characters and their relationships while also furthering the plot. Your advice was very helpful and encouraging. The fact that this world is in my hands was something that really resonated with me. I truly need to sit down and write anything that comes to me instead of putting so much pressure on myself. Thank you!

so . . . ripping hearts out is very common in writing and writers themselves aren’t excluded from that, unfortunately. pffbt. i’ve written chapters that didn’t sit right with me AT ALL and i didn’t feel any inkling of satisfaction from them for ages before deciding to trash bits and bobs and adding something completely different. there ARE authors on watt that have unpublished books to revamp or rewrite them; it’s okay to pour your heart out in another way, it doesn’t make what you’ve already written any less valid! your readers should have the heart to understand and still enjoy wherever else it is you feel your story needs to go.

and if you do make the decision to thanos snap some things here and there, just remember that they can still be on standby in a draft somewhere. maybe you like the way you wrote something ( because LORD your writing is pretty ) or there’s dialogue you’d want to see again, and what if there’s a scene you could revise to be even better or more relevant later?? it’ll become useful to already have it on hand. sometimes it’s even nice for earlier fans to recognize original pieces re-entering your work. ;)

you hold an entire world in your hands and you can bend every single life living in it at a whim. impermanence is a literal gift on watt and writers here are lucky they’re able to go back and change, grow through their books. recognizing that we can improve something is a sign of growth as authors!! so don’t develop a bad relationship with revising what’s already been published!

just remember to give your supporters a heads up with what’s been changed and we’ll eat it all up, all over again. cheers :)
