incredibly random, but there's this porn (yes i won't apologize for my whore like tendencies) fic in archive of our own that i am hopelessly in love with because it depicts historic themes so beautifully and without any sugar coating!! I have been pretty vocal about my distaste of fics that are not historically accurate but this one is! And very proudly too! It's called 293 BCE by fenhongse. Do check it out if you guys find the time to. (It's about the capture of slaves from ancient Korea and selling them in different countries and the journey of the main character in the harem of a pharaoh, in ancient egypt! could you imagine that?! the sheer fucking distance?!!? although i doubt the possibility of it being well... possible but it's really cool!)
