Okay so obviously major character death in all me fics but should I change it up?

          Authors give me the ick when they have an oc or a y/n where they/she/he take(s) the words from an actual character in that show/book/movie/anime etc.
          
          Like please fucking stop it cause if you’re gonna make an oc MAKE THE OC. An OC means OWN CHARACTER for fucks sake please stop doing that
          
          And one word or sentence is fine but the whole script? Get help
