hey guys~
          	how are you all doing?
          	this is my very first announcement on Wattpad!
          	-and the reason is not the one I am happy about...
          	
          	today, while randomly browsing across the net I came across this webpage and was horrified!

          	(here is the link...I don't even have an account there!)
          	
          	they put the stories I put on Wattpad without any prior notice or permission, each and every word, pictures,  even the damn descriptions and the few little notes on their website !!!
          	
          	what hurt me most is that they put my 'id name' on the author's column.
          	I feel super guilty. I didn't write any of these books, I feel like I am stealing the actual author's credit. ( i am just a fan and I just post GT versions + little edits sometimes.... but I am not sure anymore...I might stop posting altogether or make it private ... or maybe not... T T)
          	
          	I found out that they have been doing this with many other books as well, stealing the original owners' works from Wattpad, Tapas and maybe other places as well! 
          	They are freaking scammers and plagiarists, if you have any novel on an online platform/ your manuscript is not licensed just beware! Go and look up if your own or your fav Wattpad author's OG book is stolen or not by robbers!
          	
          	There is even an ongoing online petition against them suing them for plagiarism. 
          	I don't know what exactly is happening, but I am just quite unhappy with this situation so I came here to rant a bit!
          	
          	anyway, that's all for today~
          	I feel a bit better and calm now after letting the frustration out

@sleepypeeble I think it's bad for you and other users to post other people's work on wattpad for offline purposes if you really want other people to read those author's book you could just simply mention the prologue of the book and provide link for the original author's work. And if you really liked the book and want to read it offline you could just copy and paste the book on MS word without posting it on wattpad posting it on wattpad is also plagiarism. You could just post prologues if you want to recommend it to others but posting it on wattpad is also plagiarism it is hypocritical, I just discovered your account having seen experiencing a happy ending with a scum shou in my home page and saw this post. If you think I am wrong you are free to tell me so, I am just saying what I feel.
