गुजा़र दिए होंगें तुम्ने कई दिन, महीने, साल,
जो काट न सकोगे , वो एक रात मैं हूं।
की होगी गुफ्तगू तुम्ने, कई दफा़ कई लोगों के साथ,
जो दिल पे लगेगी , वो एक बात मैं हूं।
भीड़ में जब तन्हा, तुम खुद को पाओगे,
अपनेपन का एहसास जो करा दे , वो एक साथ मैं हूं।
बिताए होंगें तुम्ने हसीं पल , सबके साथ,
जो भुला नहीं पाओगे, वो एक याद मैं हूं।।

"WHISPERS IN THE DARK"
Days pass by somehow
But nights are now a wagon of pain.
Injuries may heal with time
But scars will always remain.
Restless on my comfortable bed
I toss and turn and try to sleep.
But thoughts are bulking my head
And have formed a huge heap.
The past is flashing its scorching light beams,
Tearing me apart, breaking me at the seams.
The darkness of my life is more visible in the dark,
Now I'm trying to give it a voice, trying to speak my heart.
