i couldn’t make it.     i was down at the station for a while      *   he stood there and watched.    he didn’t think it was a nice gift.    he didn’t know what to get her but he tried    *      your mom doesn’t feel like answering my calls     *   he forced a smile    *      im assuming she thinks im booty calling her,    and i don’t blame her,     but this is the best i can do.    i don’t know a thing about children,    but i tried.

            im assuming your invite to our christmas party got lost in the mail  ?  i told mom to tell you to come . .  hapoy new year  ,  though  *     chewing at her cheek  ,  she gave a quiet thank you  & took the gift  .  she looked up at him with narrowed eyes before she opened the bag and took out the toy     *  i'm sixteen  ,  not five  .  sorry to sound ungrateful  ,  but you  ,  at least could've asked my mom about what to get me  . .

@soiledpurity                   yeah ,  yeah       *    she went into the kitchen   ,    taking out the ice cream gallon from the freezer along with two spoons from the drawer .  entering the living room  she flopped down besides the teenage girl  ,  offering her a spoon    *     well , at least we get to see andrew lincoln act in something unzombie related   .

            surprise was evident in her chocolatey gaze  .  his words made her wonder if her mother had given him yet another talk  . "  setting her phone down in her lap and rolled her eyes at his attempt at small talk  .  at least he was trying  ?  she wasn't sure if he was being forced to be nice to her or if this his way of trying to be  '  there  '  .  "  you know  ,  you don't have to try  ,  right  ?  you made it very clear how you felt  & i've decided to accept it  .  so i'd appreciate it if you didn't confuse me like you are right now  .  "

what was he supposed to say next    ?    he never knew he’d get this far    .    blake smiles awkwardly and chuckled to get rid of the nerves acting up    .     “   what   ?   can’t say hi   ?   ”   he said    ,   feigning innocence    .    he literally didn’t know what to do    .   he was usually good talking to any other woman but this was different    .    he looked at her phone and sat across from her    .     “    what’re you looking at    ?    shoes    ?   clothes    ?    you reading something    ?     ”       trying to create small talk    ,    he was making a small plan on how to smooth things over with the young girl

            her focus was solely on the cellular device she held  & the music she played in hear earbuds  .  never did she expect that the man that not even a month ago tore her heart to shreads to be approaching  .  so when she noticed the sun she was getting had been blocked alex glanced up only to nearly leap out of her skin upon the sight of the asshole  .  pulling one earbud out  ,  she held gave him a confused yet annoyed look  .  "  what do you want  ?  " 

/  almost  /  expelled  —  *  she repeated  *  people there used to give me a pretty hard time for being  —  /  ‘  different  ’  /  —  and one day  ,  one of the girls pushed me a little too far so  —  i punched her in the face  —  and then it led to a full blown fight  —  but in  /  my  /  defense  ,  i was  /  just  /  defending myself  .  *  she chuckles slightly  *  trust me when i saw that the people at the salvatore school have a new type of problems  .

            *   she didn't comment on how she cut herself off  .  she assumed it was probably best she didn't know   *  expelled  ?  god  !  what did you do  ?  you must've done something horrible if you nearly got expelled  .  oh ─  well  ,  then i guess i should stop listening to the mystic falls high students . .  kinda wish i could go to the salvatore school now  .  & i totally relate to that . .  i'm an issue / problem / any conflict in general MAGNET  ,  i swear  .  

well i mean  —  it’s normal compared to  —  never mind  .  *  she shakes her head  *  no  ,  actually  ,  i don’t go to mystic falls high school  —  did for a couple years but was pulled out and almost expelled  .  *  she chuckles slightly  *  i do in fact go to salvatore because well  —  i’m rich  ,  i guess  .  and i have  /  a lot  /  of issues  .  *  she wrinkles her nose  *  but from my experience  ,  its always been mystic falls high starting shit  —  at least thats how it is with me  .
