            “Well, there’s nothing on your face. I promise.” She responded, looking back down at what she was doing again. “Where’s Rocket and Groot? I don’t want to have to repair a hole in the side of the ship again.”

            “Well...” he trailed off scratching the back of his neck “I know, it’s just there’s usually something on my face when people stare at me for too long” he added as he sat down across from her and watched her.

            “Glancing up at you while you’re talking to me hardly counts as staring, Peter,” Gamora responded, her hands busy sharpening a dagger, which wasn’t an odd action for Gamora, she often worked with her weapons to make sure they were all in working order

            Gamora glanced down at that, suddenly feeling a pang of guilt.  
            “I am sorry for that.” She said softly. She hadn’t meant to, but she had been so worried about protecting her friends from Thanos, that she had distanced herself from everyone.

            "I mean, yeah..We have been a little distant lately." Peter said. It was true. They had been growing further apart over the past few weeks.

            She tilted her head just slightly, blinking at him for a moment 
            “You... did?” She questioned, the smallest smile beginning to pull at the corner of her lips.

            "Uh..Gamora?" Peter said, continuing to play dumb.

            “Peter..” Gamora replied, giving him a knowing look

            "I don't know! I swear! I did nothing!" He lied. His breathes began going back to normal.

            She let a small, slight smile grace her lips as she stepped closer to him, following his lead as a he began swaying to the music

            He looked at her and took her hand “oh good” he said softly bringing her close as music played

            She raised a brow, looking at his hand, and then meeting his eyes again. A long pause when by before she finally sighed 
            “Fine.” She responded, reluctantly taking his hand.
