[she hesitates,   her voice catching as her hand drops away to rid the ash and debris from her palm to the fabric of her shirt.    her gaze is soft,   but ultimately drops to the ground between them,    as if she’s ashamed of her own selfishness]    not this man the war is trying to turn you into—    …   i don’t want to—    no,   i can’t lose you too.

@stagqrc,        i do not.     [he had no place to speak of beauty,   as he was the image of war made man itself.   ash,   blood and sweat clings to his bones like skin. his muscles were taut,  limbs sore.  he doesn’t know how long he had been on the back of the golden fury,     whose anger mirrored his own.  he had never seen goldbyrne so determined to burn and destroy.. then again,   no one had seen nathaniel that way, either. the dragons  were an external vessel of the emotions of  it’s rider,    after all .  his hand on daybreaker clenches the helmet is not removed.  the dragon king only leans,  cool metal pressed against the flesh of her forehead]      ..  i  / will / win this—for you—for them.

@valhalkyrie      yes,   thank you tree mother for worrying about our sodium intake and potential heart problems.   [it would be merely a whisper accompanied by a snicker.   she was lucky that sansa was sat right next to her,   or else she’d have to keep her little comments to herself..   granted nobody else could hear them.    at least then,   subtle moments of humor shared between the two would certainly make this..   visit more bearable]     so do you call me that for fun or—    just because?    i mean,   i don’t care either way..   it just sounds odd,   especially coming from you of all people

dragons!!    oh,    that's wonderful.    i had attempted that a few years ago,   but i just don't seem to have that special touch.
