I'm starting a new project (yes, sigh, I know I always say that and never finish said project but waIT BC THIS, MY FRIENDS, IS DIFFERENT) it's collections of moments, each moment being approximately under 4,000 words. I will be submitting some to a woman I met at a workshop today who works for Rowan University. I'm hoping to get them published in a magazine or newspaper there. SO, I will also be posting them here. A more detailed description of what I plan to do is as follows:
Take a situation that could be a short story, first date, first day somewhere, moving to a new place, etc (those are really bad examples omg) and then breaking those into tiny moments, around 5-10 minutes. So have a collection of moments for one milestone. It's inspired by Stephen Somdheim's "Into the Woods". The specific quote (THIS IS A VERY WORTHY MUSICAL AND THE MOVIE ADAPTATION WAS DONE VERY WELL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) "if life were made of moments, even now and then a bad one. But if life were made of moments, would you even know you had one". This collection would explore those moments within what people consider the moment. Very descriptive little tidbits that should be interesting. We will see. But I'm excited so you should be too lol. I can't wait!!!
