            her lips curled downwards as she went to wrap an arm around her, sighing quietly. “i know you do, he just needs an extra push.” she muttered back before pulling away to grab a pack of tissues for her. “i don’t know, it’s just hard after everything.. if he really thought of me as more than a friend, he wouldn’t have dated her.” she mumbled back, handing her the tissues. “as for haj, you’re gonna have to push him cuz he won’t listen to anyone but you, the source.”

“i mean yeah— but i’m fine with him being wrong, i-i just want my brother back.” her voice started to crack a bit before sighing and nodding, “i know, i know. i want him to heal too, i see how he stares at you now. it’s just so… longing, as if he even regrets being with her.” she stated as she played with a piece of her hair, “you’re not just a friend to him though.” she rolled her eyes at her response due to her own error, “i should’ve never said that to him — i want him so much but i want him to make the first move.”

            “i think he just probably has a hard time facing you because he knows he was wrong, and is beating himself up over it. you do the same, as well. even back with nishinoya you did.” she sighed out, sliding her hands into her hair to quell her stress. “anyway, it’s done. can’t undo their relationship and how it ended. so hopefully he can find it in himself to heal. as for me, i’ll be playing the role i always do, which is the friend who listens.” she answered before eyeing her briefly. “well he won’t because you said you didn’t want a relationship. he’s respecting boundaries.”

“if i’m grossed out, you should be too.” he blinked before looking away, “well, clearly tooru-san thinks i’m a catch! HAH IN YOUR FACE TOORU!” he laughed before putting his hands on his hips. “it’s because i get too nervous to talk about yvette…” he covered his mouth at the mention of her. “don’t be afraid. i’m sure these are the words that he’s been looking for— for years, ellie-chan!”

            “am i really..” she whispered before letting out a breath. “i don’t think that will work well, he seems to dead set on me being interested in you- has he forgotten about yvette?? ughh, it’s just ridiculous.” she grumbled, following his gaze before looking back at him. “there’s only so much sky can say at this rate. i guess i just, have to grow a pair and tell him myself. i’m just.. afraid.”

“if i tell you, you’re gonna get grossed out.” he huffed as he crossed his arms over his chest, “well, i think he’s taking my bait rather well. maybe if i just pretend to kiss you, he might just say how he feels. though poor sky-chan’s been collateral damage.” he looked over towards her in the distance, “i’m surprised she didn’t tell him already, i know she wants you both happy more than anybody else.” he laughed a bit, “what do you mean? i think that was a very smart decision. see how minami is now miraculously out of the picture? i think i do great work.”

            “if that really was the case, why couldn’t he just ask me himself? i wouldn’t have said no, i would have been thanking my lucky stars.” she mumbled before letting out a breath. “akira-san has a hard time with family, he just feels unwanted and argues as to why he had to do the approaching if he was the one who was left behind.” she tried explaining before looking back down at the court. “i’m not sure what that will do now, giving they’re dating.”

            “perhaps minami is just a distraction from what he really wants which is…” he points towards her, “you. it’s like the thing with my brother, he keeps trying to ignore me and avoid anything having to do with my mother and i.” he sighed before shaking his head, “you don’t have to. i can! knocking some sense into people is what i do best, that’s the only reason sky-chan is able to find that iwaizumi guy to make her happy now instead of that good for nothing boyfriend!”

            “w-well i get embarrassed of what you would think if you saw my notes!” she tried reasoning, feeling her face burn with color as she looked up at him longer. eleven years and she still found herself completely lost in his allure. “t-that’s enough practice for today, you’ve definitely exhausted yourself if you’re over here calling my face beautiful..” she muttered, helping him to bench before blinking over at him. “what.. do you mean by that?”

he whined further before rolling his eyes, “i can’t believe you would be so cruel, ellie-chan! when we were younger, you would always share then with me!” he huffed out before blinking, “well yeah but i’m starting to see white spots while looking at you… i mean i can still see your beautiful face but it’s getting more and more blurry.” he stated in confusion before shaking his head, “you’re wanted in many ways here, stay with me forever. won’t you?” he confessed in a rather clingy manner, though his words were true.
