PLS READ!!

          — if you’re not spreading links and support towards the issues occurring today, you’re not choosing to stay “neutral” nor are you not choosing a “side”. Because you’ve already chosen the side of the oppressors.

Times have changed and so should you. This isn’t a time to stay silent and this isn’t a time to stay “neutral”. It doesn’t matter if you’re American or not, racism exist in every corner of the world.

If you “see no point in sharing links when everyone already did” then you’re missing the point. This is beyond publicly supporting George Floyd and over victims, this is about us being heard! This is about change! Stop being afraid to mess up your timeline or losing followers, spread the word.

It’s time we stop letting our oppressors and our failure of a government win. We must fight back. We must be seen and heard.

While I can see where you’re coming from...this isn’t just another hashtag, it’s not just another life being taken away, and this isn’t about being openly and publicly supporting George Floyd.

It’s 2020 and with everything that’s been happening in the last 3 days is impacting our world in a completely different way. With that being said, people blindly turning away from these events are choosing the side of the oppressor. I’m not saying post proof of your support for this and not i’m not saying “if u don’t support u are racist”, i’m saying if my words are enough to bother you, you are the one of the problems. If you’ve already shown your support by donating and signing petitions, silently, my words shouldn’t mean anything to you. This is for everyone turning around and “playing the safe card” by ignoring these issues.

Also, this “choice” isn’t a choice or plenty of POC and minorities on this app. Having the ability to choice to support this movement is a PRIVILEGE. For others, this is THEIR community, THEIR family, THEIR friends who continue being mistreated in today’s society and they’re finally fighting back.

And for once, I am judging those who stand by and have the privilege to do nothing. The fact that some can stand by and do NOTHING is toxic. How are you gonna stand there and complain about our corruption but when it’s time, do nothing? It’s selfish, toxic, and inhumane to do absolutely nothing during these difficult times.

@starkbursts I cannot begin to express how toxic this is. You're judging people for not wanting to express their opinions on the internet. They have the right not to say anything. And saying that they're on the same side of the oppressor just because they choose to be silent is wrong. Yes, Black live DO matter and I agree with supporting as much as you can. But trying to force people out of their comfort zones is just wrong. In the end, it's their choice if they want to share a link and post on their timeline. They don't HAVE to. Please consider that.
