hi! This is the author (starlesswitch, but you can call me remi!) Thank you so much for reading, this is my first time writing and english isn't my first language, if you spot any errors, please let me know! 
A little bit about me, and the story:
I grew up in Shanghai, and I mainly speak Shanghainese but I also speak a bit of Mandarin and Cantonese! I moved to Canada when I was in high school, and I currently attend college in Ontario, working on a Psychology BA.
When I moved to Canada, I found that it was difficult to learn English in a classroom setting, even while taking ESL courses, so I ended up spending a lot of time in the library. Unfortunately, whenever I read books in the library, I found that the characters in the books never looked like me, or came from the same places I did. Realm of the Sun is my take on a fantasy set in a fictional combination of east asian countries, called Cai, or the kingdom of the sun. I'll try to update weekly, but I'm busy and exam season is just around the corner... anyway, thanks for reading and thank you for being beta readers!
