i am so alone. like not just "I'm feeling lonely." i go to school, work, and home. I don't hang out with people. every time I ask to talk to or hang out with people, they either ignore me or have other things to do and I just give up on everything what even is the point of life if all i do is do everything alone?

I just saw a tiktok comment that said “people think a ‘well-written’ character is synonymous with ‘likable’” and I have never agreed with anything more. It’s actually so frustrating when I see such a well written character that is simply called the opposite because they are morally gray or just bad.
          
          It’s also so sad that people are always claiming “we need more well-written female characters” yet they hate the beautifully written ones that are complex and show actual emotions.
          
          My biggest example is Teresa from maze runner. Her betrayal saved so many, yet people look past that because of her betrayal and the pov which the movie is in. Characters have motives and those are what makes them dynamic.
          
          Like- if you speak on characters in such a way as to how they are written, use complex thinking and don’t just surface read the character

            people often do this in the game of thrones fandom too. they want complex female characters but hate allicent and sansa and love the targaryen women (not saying i love allicent but she is probably the most complex but idk about the books) and it’s frustrating. they hate elena for being whiny and crying all the time (as if she’s not a teenage girl going through the most traumatic experience ever, though her actions are questionable sometimes). i can name so more
