I'm a British crime novelist, the author of 16 novels in the Ben Cooper and Diane Fry series. My novels features two young police detectives, and are set in England's beautiful and atmospheric Peak District. They've twice won the Barry Award for Best British Crime Novel of the Year, as well as the Dager in the Library Award from the Crime Writers' Association. I've also been a Gold Dagger  and Anthony Award nominee, and Ben Cooper was a finalist for the Sherlock Award for Best Detective created by a British author.  CLAWS is a short novella focusing on Detective Constable Ben Cooper on assignment to the Rural Crime Team in the county of Derbyshire.

The books are published in the USA by Witness Impulse. In the UK and Canada, the early books were from HarperCollins and the later ones by Little, Brown.
