          Hi, I'd like to say thanks for your reading and voting on Charlie Croft, I hope it was worth your while.

I didn’t publish a chapter yesterday. I spent most of the day doing my brothers hair and then I had to get my dogs ready and finish packing for the trip. The rental we went to reserved a 7 passenger car, but instead gave us 5. Now we’re packed in with two dogs. 
          
          Anyways, when I can’t publish a full chapter I’m just going to publish the prompt. It’ll give an idea what that chapter will be about. How you’ll know which chapters are complete, there will be a green check by the title.

          This month birthed me. It raised me with the changing of the leaves and the friendly, cooling weather. It’s the month when I start wrapping up the year, and boy will I shove this year under a bed—the nicest way to put it. 
          
          Anyway, I’m going to do a challenge: 30 stories in 30 days. Can I do it? I’m going to try. 
          
          First story posted yesterday is about a young dog. 
          
          If anyone stumbles across a prompt challenge or anything along the lines of that, just for this month, you can tag me if you want.
          
          I’m also going to be catching up on some reading. I’ve started a lot of books on here that I need to finish. 

August has always been my favorite month. This year, it carries a deeper meaning. This is my nephew’s birth month. I can’t even imagine how big he would’ve been. 
          
          In the last few months I have educated myself on different topics surrounding this and I now dream to help first time parents any way I can. I’ve also donated gift baskets to the NICUs I’ve visited in town and I try to connect with the parents when I can. 
          
          I’ve gotten into resin art and started dabbling with crocheting because of the NICU nurses. 
          
          It might’ve only been nine days, but I’ve learned so much in that short amount of time.
