          her eyes drifted from him to the animal by his side, a slight smile reaching her lips then. she’d always loved dogs, even when they were considered the enemies hundreds of years before now. “you’re awfully confident in your skills.” the woman mused, her eyes finally moving back up to the male. “you’re leaving so soon?” she couldn’t tell if her question had been taunting or genuine, but she’d let him decide that for himself. “if you want a cab that accepts dogs, i’d suggest attaboys.”

          emiko’s only reaction to what he’d said was to narrow her eyes at him. “i highly doubt that. no one simply walks away from an organization like that and lives to tell the tale.” she’d been speaking from experience here, but the fact that she was standing there meant something. “but i’ll humor you for now. what is it that you want, then?”
