This is going to be a long message but here we go…
Reasons why I wouldn’t continue writing here
It’s not a sudden decision. I had decided that I’ll be on this platform for only two years and then I’ll decide.
And I had sort of made up my mind when I had kept a target for 3 times but it was never completed.
But I still carried on with my writing as I was thinking about my loyal readers.
In both the books, people usually comment when they want to ask about the next update. There are many chapters in AD&L that have zero comments but I have still gone ahead with the story because I didn’t want to quit in the middle.
And then, there is this follow and unfollow game that people play here. Some of them are so rude that after I thank them for following me, they unfollow me. I don’t beg anyone to follow me so please don’t if you have to unfollow later on.
And lastly, people add my books to the reading lists that are titled as ‘Favourites’ but I never see them voting let alone commenting on them.
I don’t know how I had the motivation to write here for so long. But it has slipped away and at a very bad timing I must say.
And it’s not anyone’s fault but mine. Because there’s a saying right, you give them an inch and they take a mile. I should have quit long back before getting so disinterested in writing on Wattpad.
I really don’t want my motivation to run out completely and that’s why I will be shifting my stories where the number of votes and comments and these followers thing wouldn’t affect me.
