My skin turns pale and cold

Every time someone cares I loose my hold

Bitter betrayal never comes from the enemy

Once close friends always leave me

Loyalty breaks as easily as it comes

I will join the abandoned as the lost one

My arms thrown aside, as if ready to hug

I'm ready to take all the hits to come

Wearing a smile as a mask, I walk down the hall

I look around, seeing the strings that move us all

My heart is hollow

I just follow

Crystal tears run down my face

My smile and laughter seems out of place

I fade into the gray

Selfishly wishing for a new day

I feel heavy, as the cold swallows me whole

Darkness sourounds me, I'm all alone

I mutter under my breath, welcome home
