@TheSuperGayPanda I had a differten, shorter plot in mind... well mostly I just had a prologue and epilogue to start with, with a vague in between... I feel awful for it...

Well I think a good idea would be for Magnus's father telling them he planned on rebirthing his soul into their unborn baby so he can move freely around the planet so he can rule over the Downworlders and Shadowhunters and enslave the mundane race. And Magnus's only way to stop him is to make a deal with his extremely powerful uncle and have his uncle put a stop to his father's attempt to implant his soul in their child. The rest is your ideas!
