We imagine poets as confident and strong individuals who put together words to create a masterpiece of their emotions for the world to understand what is going on in their overthinking mind.
The funny thing is that these "poets" are scared of being rejected and, thus, they write for the comfort they can't get from their "friends" or themselves.
We are all poets.
Some of us take a week to write an essay for English class while others can write it in an hour.
Some of us are readers while others are creators
Although we are such different people, we have all one thing in common: the love of the feeling of how a story can make you escape to a new world filled with excitement and you can finally be the person you want to be.
Like poets, we are afraid, sensitive, and emotional
