I grew up in an itty bitty town in New Jersey. Now I live in Pennsylvania where I'm revising "Color" for an indie book launch. 😃

I've faced my share of discrimination 😩 - even in recent times. There are hints of my life experiences throughout "Color" - both positive and negative.

The greatest struggle I've faced - my mother falling down her basement steps and becoming partially paralyzed. She is my inspiration for writing historical fiction: To capture the past. To show despite great suffering, there is always hope. My other inspiration is my brother, Joe, with Down Syndrome.
