Heyy, so... I've been doubting some things about myself and I'm wondering if I'm asexual, if you know someone asexual who can share their experiences I'd be really glad because I don't really know if I'm overthinking it, or maybe I don't even overthink and I'm just being dramatic. But when I try to read smut it feels wrong, like, my body..."reacts"(?) but I feel disgusted or unholy even though I don't have a religion, I don't feel any pleasure reading it, I just feel blank or feel something in my belly like a rock in my stomach.
I know I shouldn't be bothering you with my inner problems and it's okay if you don't have an answer.
Sorry again for this mess, maybe I'm just being a normal person and dramatising it . Anyways, any help would be really useful (Maybe I'll post this somewhere else to get more answers but if you see this somewhere else, that's the reason)

Hey, it’s totally fine to ask for advice whether its personal or not as long you are comfortable in asking the question aaa-. Personally as an asexual person I get uncomfortable when I read or hear anything is too suggestive, and I personally can relate in wanting to experience those things. When I read smut- usually I don’t feel anything or I feel a bit uncomfy or sometimes disgusted, mostly blank tho hahaha. And you aren’t a mess about thinking about this tbh cause it is about your preferences which is important especially in relationships. I have been explained about certain “kinks” by an ex-online friend. I swear that conversation almost made me throw up. It’s okay to be disgusted about it.
I sort of don’t have a religion atm, but I also feel disgusted and unholy when I read smut like I really shouldn’t be reading these stuff or like “ EW. EW EW EW EW STOP WTF-“.
And no, no one is weird for being asexual or any part of the lgbt community. And take your time to discover yourself, and don’t worry too much about it. As someone who is asexual-if you plan to get into a relationship with your special someone, it’s better to tell them first and stress on it cause yes boundaries are important and must be heard. As long we state our boundaries in a nice way and straightforward then there is nothing wrong about it.
And i am open for anyone to ask me for advice. I may not give the best advice but I will try my best. And you are normal and here is a hug attack
