rohn couldn’t believe her eyes , her feet flat in the ground as she stood next to the ship.
it had been months since she had seen him... and there was always that fear that she would never see him again.
sure, there were those quick video chats, but they became less and less frequent as more work piled up. but then it came to the fact they stopped talking, promising they would see each other soon. but they were both back, in the same place .
“luke?” she said softly, taking a few steps forward out of fear and pure excitement taking over her heart.

@toschestation “what i think? i think it’s pretty fluffy.” she said , stepping back as she kept her arm around him, the other holding her goggles and resting on her hip. “but that doesn’t mean i don’t like it.” “but, you look like you need a shower...” she said , wiping her thumb on his cheek to show him the build up of grease from his helmet that rested on his face . “i would have kissed you at some point... but your face is gross.” she laughed, giving him a playful wink.

@Iegacies the sudden openess shocked him. it's not like she had ever really kept anything from him, no she was as open as a being could get most of the time. maybe it was the fact that what she said made his heart do a very unmanly jump or two in his chest. and then there were her eyes and all was right again somehow. his mouth wasn't as dry, he could breathe, his chest didn't hurt with the squeeze of his traitorous heart. "what? you don't like the new look?" he ran a hand through his own hair, he would be the first to admit, he had let it get away from him. scruffy was more han's thing than his. "i think it's great, don't you?" he teased.

@toschestation rohn smiled a bit wider , twirling her finger in the bangs she had brushed away. she then bit her lip a little as she thought about it. “tell you how i really feel?” she asked softly. “i want to slap you sometimes, but i really love you. i don’t know how i went this long without hearing your voice....” she whispered, reaching to her head and pulling off her goggles so she didn’t have to see him through the grime on the glass . “and god.... you really need to cut your hair...”
