╱╱ I'll get around to starters today . sorry for being inactive , work has been keeping me busy .

with a quiet breath, the girl turned her back. “aether. i didn’t think i’d see you again,” her head tilted. she hadn’t exactly /seen/ her brother herself, simply heard of his arriving by an abyss herald she kept nearby. she couldn’t face him properly — not yet. “it’s been awhile.” perhaps it has. a few months, maybe. depending on how time worked here.
          
          it was all different. her fists were clenched at her sides, head lifted to the sky just slightly. “i’m glad you’re okay.” the words come out before she can really stop herself from saying so, and she swallowed. “at least you seem to be. i take it you’ve grown stronger, hm?” she nearly smiled, turning to finally face him with a grim expression on her face.
          
          “we cannot go home now. you understand, don’t you? i finished my journey.” she inhaled deeply, “and we cannot go home until you do, too.”
