I just heard the news about Wattpad discontinuing the PM/DMs as of May.
          	 
          	While I'm disappointed at this development, at this point, it would make sense for users of this platform to have alternate means of communication/messaging with fellow writers/readers (or if feasible, make that info available on their works/page). 
          	
          	Wattpad remains true to the platform's purpose;  writers/authors share their stories here to be read, with the ability to share links to these stories on other platforms. From what I understand you'll still be able to make comments within the work. 
          	
          	Maybe this might lead to more use of this 'Conversations' option- I would appreciate more public communication. 
          	
          	But that's just my thoughts on the matter, what do I know? : )

STATUS of 'My Friend Loki: Quarantine': I remain in the editing stage and I'm up to Chapter Six (out of 25). When I finish editing I'll be giving it one more read-through to make sure I didn't miss anything. It's slow process, but at this point - I know what author I want to be. For you. For all of us.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm in the rereading/editing stage of my current book, "My Friend Loki: Quarantine." In doing so, I've decided to unpublish the eleven chapters that had currently had been available so you won't get several notifications on your feed. Hoping to release this book in full sometime in in March this year. Take care and read you soon! : )

I was away on vacation and have now returned - so back to the task of editing "My Friend Loki: Quarantine." FYI: If you see some notifications from me pop up on your feed, I'll simply giving ALL the chapters - those previously published and those not as of yet - a reread to tighten things up. Looking forward to sharing this latest book in the series with you all sometime in March! : )

Wattpadders: PLEASE BE AWARE when it comes to loading chapters for you and others reading your works, this platform still has the odd glitch. Sometimes it doesn't load the whole chapter. It might make you or your reader think the chapter ends suddenly (or you lost text), leaving them confused. Please let your readers know this in advance! Today I had an author aquaintance read my first book and they mentioned certain things that didn't quite add up. After a quick check, I realized this was the case. It's a quick fix though, you simply have to go back and forth with chapters to make sure it's all there. 
          
          I'll add that it MADE MY DAY that this aquaintance enjoyed my story, despite the glitches! : )

@BunnyLucy lucky you were able to maintain the old version without any issues. I miss the other version as well, especially when you could take a selection from your work and put it on a nice background to share.

@ user98735533  this is exactly the reason why i still use old version of wattpad (no ads, no curency, more then 2 offline books + none of these glitches)

Today is my birthday! I miss hearing from my fellow Wattpadders, I hope some of you can drop me a line later on. Regarding my WIP, "My Friend Loki: Quarantine" I'm almost finished, just need to work one or two chapters, then the read-through and editing will begin. Aiming for release in early 2024. : )
