How tf do y’all write slow burn romances? I’m attempting to plan one I want to be slow burn, but I’m failing.

Yeah I don't know how this author has managed to pull it off. I think the trick is writing with a focus on plot not relationship so that romance develops naturally among whatever other events are going on.

@bookw00m DAMN. That’s wild. My main fear when writing a slow burn is that it gets boring and repetitive. There’s only so much that can happen between the characters before it becomes tedious.

Seriously, there’s this one called Magianima that’s taken me over 60 hours just to read and they still aren’t together. Brilliant fic, incredibly well planned but damn I am getting so impatient
