My dear followers, I was hoping that I would be sharing a more cheerful post with you this week but that is not the case. I am leaving. Not just wattpad, but the United States. My life in the south has been far from perfect but with the encroaching anti trans laws I am being forced to leave as soon as I have the money. Since I will be transferring to a new college very soon, I am taking that opportunity to get a visa and leave the United States for it is no longer safe here. I have decided not to focus on my writing rather than focusing on getting my degree as I don't know how much time I have here before it becomes illegal to be here too. With the newest bill in Florida they are taking transgender children away from their families and denying gender affirming care in the south. I don't know what is next. This isn't a goodbye forever. You guys have been my priority but I have to put me first. My hope is one day my writing will be in a book for all to read and enjoy. I just want to thank all of you for reading and following along in this chapter of my life. I want to thank everyone for being so supportive. I want all of my transgender youth readers to know that I love each and every one of you dearly. Please stay safe out there.

          Goodbye for now,
          Vee

Hello followers happy autism awareness month, I just wanted to take a second to say that I am so excited to be introducing a new short story soon of an autistic person. I am autistic and I think it is always good to see representation no matter who you are. Please take the time to educate yourselves on autism (from an autistic person not the autism speaks website) and if you have any questions reply to this conversation!

Attention all followers:
Please read this because soon, there may be many lives at stake in North Carolina, United States. There is a bill (Senate Bill 49 North Carolina) that is getting ready to be passed in North Carolina that states that in order for a gender nonconforming individual to go by their prefered names and pronouns they have to have parental consent. This would mean every time a student tells an administrator/teacher that the child was not straight or cis gender (not conforming to the gender they were assigned at birth) the personel would be legally required to report this to the parents via phone call or meeting no matter the cercumstances at home. This would put not only many students in difficult spots with their parents but also MILLIONS OF CHILDREN in danger of getting kicked out onto the streets by unaccepting parents or even beaten or killed. This bill has already been through the senate and could pass very soon. If we don't take action and get coverage, the don't say gay movement will continue to spread across america leaving millions of LGBTQ+ individuals ridiculed, under represented, and abused, as well as increase the suicide rates even more in trans/nonbinary teens. If You care even just a little bit I encourage you to email or call your local government offices today ESPECIALLY THE ONE FOR NORTH CAROLINA and get them not to pass this bill. It will mean life or death for some kids. Thank you for reading. Please don't just sit around. Please share the message.
