Hey my one-and-onlys,

I have wonderful news! We are back from the dead after seven years and ready to party. A lot of you asked for another book and I have good news-- it's finally here! I know it's been nearly a millennium, but we've enjoyed this site in the past and have decided to return. We look forward to your comments and feedback, and reading your awesome works as well!

          Love,
          Sycamore York

(CONTINUATION of the prior, elephant-sized message)

I want my readers to know that the girl (or boy) doesn't always have to end up with the boy (or girl) in order to be strong and achieve her happily ever after, and that suicide, NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCE, is never, EVER the answer. And it is never to be taken lightly.
It means so much to me that you guys read TEA and support it. Words cannot describe how blessed I am to have such wonderful followers, and I still can't believe that there are people in this world who actually *care* about what *I* wrote. But the truth is,TEA sends out a lot of messages I highly regret, and I want my readers to know that. I would write an alternate version with stronger characters and better messages if I had the time, but alas I do not, so more than likely I will just take the last few chapters out.
Thanks again loved-ones, for all of your support, encouragement, and understanding. Without you I'd be twelve times lamer than I already am, which would be unimaginable, seeing as I'm already pretty lame.

Until we meet again, sweet angel cheeks....
          Happy hunting!

Hey there my one-and-onlys,
Before anything else, It imperative that I address a very important issue here on Wattpad today, and that issue is called Suicide. (W A R N I N G: SPOILER ALERT for THE EXPLORER'S APPRENTICE)
As some of you may know, the Explorer's Apprentice was written three years ago buy authors between the ages of twelve and fourteen, and while that is no excuse for its extremely upsetting ending, it is the truth. It was written at a time in my life when I was still a child (well, I mean, I'm still a child NOW...but more childish than I currently am) and had very little life experience or knowledge when it came to heavy real-life issues, such as suicide.
Suicide is not something to be taken lightly, and it is not something that should end a book simply because it is "sadder" and "more dramatic" that way. The message that TEA's ending sends out--that if things don't work out for you, if the boy doesn't fall in love with you, then you should just *kill yourself*--the idea that one's life should revolve around one person and one person only-- is vile and incredibly juvenile, and I send out my most extreme apologies for that. My goal as a writer NOW is to create strong, relatable, and at times admirable characters who inspire my readers that battles can battles can be conquered, and that one can lead a successful and happy life, even when things do not go as planned. I want my characters to demonstrate hope and strength even through trials, and I want my readers to understand that there is more to life than boys, or girls, or being in a relationship. Hey friendships!
Just came back from a glorious vacation full of marshmallow-eating gators, and I am just tickled pink to see the amount of love TEA received while I was away! You guys are the ultimate best followers we could ever ask for--the Alpha Followers--and we just wanted to let you know how grateful we are for your wonderful, undeserved support.
Thanks again, and stay blindingly sexy!
          Happy hunting!
