The-New-Captain-

Late nights were a time the avengers Tower was Normally silent besides the occasional teenager Spider themed hero or a sleep deprived Archer with a fear of gold horns. Tho resently there was someone else up stealing the snaks from the kitchen and eating them at night, that person just happened to be America's ass himself he had resently moved in after an Attack on his apartment. He was mostly just in the background of everything and when people tried to talk to him they always called him Steve and it made him uncomfortable, he wasn't Steve he thought he made that clear but as it turns out not everyone new and those who did would asked really awkward questions so the super soldier took to only coming out at night, and soon started snaking, one night it was a vary quite night and the captain was at it again in full costume he went right for bowl of frosted flakes with chocolate sauce ontop and chocolate milk, and a package of Thor's poptats he had been blaming tony stark for, the super soldier was like a kid, and sweets were what kept him sane.

            The captain wiped around his eyes wide as they landed on the other man, the bowl in his hands spoon in his mouth and poptats in his utility belt, he swallowed his food and looked embarrassed but straighted up aft a moment and looked serious, "son, I'm going to have to ask you to pretend you never saw this" he said in that oh so famous captain America voice. He was embarrassed, he already thought some of the avengers didn't like him because he didn't act anything like Steve,  and now he was caught Stelling food, he clearly was feeling guilty but put up the touch soldier act, he loved sweet things back in the war at Least he felt like he did so it brought him comfort and he wasn't about to let that feeling go even if it ment another Avenger wouldn't like him in his mind.

            The moonlight shone through the open window , where lay a sleep deprived Samuel Wilson . He opened his eyes , swinging his legs off the bed , figuring a glass of water would set him straight . He stood up reluctantly , stretching slightly . Even though he wasn't getting any sleep , he wanted to stay in his bed . Back then , they use to make them sleep on the floor with rocks as pillows — now , he's here , lying in bed ; it's like a marshmallow , feels like he'll sink right to the floor . He knew not every home had this luxury , mostly because of poverty , which was why he thought that prices should be lowered . He went to the kitchen , rubbing his eyes with the heel of his palm . He saw Steve there , costume on , and he seemed to be eating something . " Cap ... ? "
