a little rant:
i literally hate when a story has this plot-" OMG the main character is SOOOOOOO InNoCenT and a skinny white girl who has never dRaAnK and shes so PerfeCt and the guy has to "deflower" her because hes just such a BaD boY." like wtf? It just drives that "perfect girl" stereotype and it just pisses me off. Like and most of the authors makes her(main female character) only personality trait that shes smart and innocent with a perfect friends and life. Maybe add some hobbies in there? It just comes off as misogynistic. IT JUST MAKES ME SO MAD- and then like once the "innocent" girl and the "bad boy" fuck, hes just like blatantly harassing her for sex for the rest of the book and its just so uncomfy. Usually the "bad boy" says something like "I forgot you're dirty now.."or "You aren't so innocent anymore.." and touches her in some way that just make me sit there and contemplate my life decisions to read that book. An example of the would be "foresight" by @breathlessgrxnt . You could also bring up the argument: "well different people like different types of books." this is true. But at the same time, its like why would you like a book like that- its just WHY?? Like whats appealing about that type of book? i think thats all i have to say so yeah.
