Retired college prof. I am trying my hand at mystery novels. I have published three on smashwords. The latest is Orwell's Librarians. All feature Kat Johnson, a retired soldier now living in the extreme edge of Wisconsin. She owns a lodge and runs weekend outdoor seminars for women. Mysteries come her way. In Orwell's Librarians, a group of librarians build a book repository on the opposite end of her lake. Their fear is that Orwell was right, and all history will soon be faked. They collect old encyclopedias as evidence of facts. The repository is immediately attacked. Kat must determine who the attackers are.
The mystery I am currently writing involves a twelve year old girl who crashes a car into the bar where Kat sometimes works. The girl is killed. No one admits to knowing the girl.
