          I know it's been a while, but I wanted to let you know of something exciting I have been working on! I've always wanted to rewrite The Youngest Ro'meave in my adult style, and I finally got around to it! I've published the first chapter on Archive of Our Own (linked below.)           it's been a while. i'm pretty inconsistent with my logins on this account, honestly, life just gets in the way. but, i'm back again.
          
          the youngest ro'meave turned seven this month, which is wild to think about. this account and these stories were the outlet of a twelve year old with a passion for fantasy and writing. while a lot (most) of those early writings don't hold up, i'm grateful i had this space at that age to process the experiences of becoming a teenager and growing up. 
          
          so what am i up to now? i'm a college student in my first semester in nursing school, which is very exciting :). i never lost my passion for storytelling and fantasy, even if i'm not able to indulge it as much as i once was. i'm working as an RA and loving every moment of it and my experience in college.
          
          so then you may be asking, why this post? i've honestly been needing a creative outlet from the stress of nursing school, and so i've began contemplating returning to daughter of esmund. i will (hopefully) have new updates out soon, and while they will be nowhere near frequent, my hope is to continue updating. additionally, i would like to revise what i've already written, as there are components of annie's story that i am not happy with and that i would like to alter. 
          
          i hope you all are willing to join me on this little exploration of annie's story again :)

Hey everybody. 
          
          It’s been a few months of radio silence and I apologize for that once again. I got incredibly burnt out on writing and Aphmau in general and was not in a place with my mental health where I could be writing.
          
          The pandemic really took a toll on my mind and my creative process, so much so I’ve been really struggling to write. However, that being said, I’ve been getting back into it. Recently I reread some chapters I had written and it sparked my interest in Annie’s story once more, so as I’d right now, I’m planning on continuing.
          
          However, I cannot guarantee that I will finish Daughter of Esmund. There is still so much of the story left to cover that I’m not sure if I’ll be able to complete it. As a reminder, I started Annie’s story when I was in 7th grade, this upcoming fall I’ll be a senior in high school. While I cannot promise you a complete and full story, I can promise you an ending and explanation of events.
          
          I’ve had the ending of Annie’s story planned out and somewhat written since the end of 2019, I’ve known how it was going to end long before that along with all the details in between. Therefore, if I find myself unable to finish the story I will release and explanation of events and then the ending chapter(s) along with an epilogue.
          
          Now that all of this is out of the way, thank you so much for the continued support. I came back to find The Youngest Ro’meave at 9,000 reads and #5 on the Minecraft diaries tag. That is insane to me. Thank you so much.

Hey! I just wanted to hop on here and say a couple things that I’ve been thinking about.
          Mostly I just wanted to say how happy I am to have gotten such a sudden surge in re-interest I’m Daughter of Esmund. I’ve had so much inspiration and I’ve been enjoying writing again.
          The second thing I wanted to do was thank all of you for your continued support. I know I’m quite spotty with new chapters and I’ve had to take quite a few breaks, but I’m so grateful that you all of stayed around to see this story through it’s entirety. So thank you. From the bottom of my heart. <3
