reading back through parts of such great heights at the moment and despite the fact that i wrote the entirety of what i'm rereading BEFORE i met the person i'm thinking of, i think steve and mickey are pretty much a reflection of my dynamic with one of my best friends. to the point where reading back through it right now after we've had several discussions of "what are we?" a tad painful :)))). what. a. blast.

omg hey??? well first of all happy new year and i hope you all had a great holiday season. it's been a crazy couple of months. i've been updating what i have when i've thought of it but i haven't done much writing bc i was in a new city and meeting a shit ton of people and packing my schedule to the brim with things way out of my comfort zone and it was kinda the best time of my life thus far and now it's over and i've been back at home for like a month and that abrupt change has kind of thrown be into a rut in many senses and has taken a huge toll on my mental health :))). i miss my friends more than words can explain but they are unfortunately scattered all over the country, some even outside of the country. anyway, you don't care. the point of this is that i have unfortunately not been writing like at all but i really miss it. i keep waiting for the moment when i'll finally have the spark that will reignite my love for it but until that comes, i hope you enjoy what i have out so far. the love on the journalist is as always overwhelming so thank you for that. hopefully i'll see y'all again soon.

          so i've been a bit absent i will admit :). but i will say it's been a great time to be me lol. i'm in d.c. for an internship at the moment and i'm having more fun that i've maybe ever had. met some amazing people who i've been going out with constantly and just having a blast exploring this gorgeous city and doing some really cool work. HOWEVER, i feel i have neglected you lovely people. so, updates coming today for the ones that i can and we'll see what i have time for this term ;). until then, have a great day/week/month and remember that there are always great people out there waiting for you to find them. you just have to be patient and go looking <3

i'm so late on this, but i've been watching ted lasso for the first time and i'm half way through season three so i started reading... *sigh* jamie tartt fics. i am hopelessly in love w that man in a way that will no doubt embarass me in the future. may or may not have to... start writing yet another fic for yet another of my current hyperfixations :)))
