A sneak peek of chapter 2 [ A Taste of Baby]:

I bump into someone by accident, apologetically I look up at the person, smiling softly. "Sorry," I say expecting them to say no worries but he only stares blankly down at me. "You're supposed to say that's fine, or whatever."

He blinks, shaking his head lightly. "Sorry," he replies. "I didn't expect to see you here."

"What? Do I know you?" I enquire. "I think you've mistaken me for someone else."

"Actually, yeah, you're probably right. Sorry," he tells me, going to leave but something about him feels familiar to me. It might be his espresso-coloured eyes and the way he's looking down at me, or the smell of his cologne that's lingering in my lungs, it's intoxicating but addicting.

A sneak peek of [ a taste of baby ] chapter one:

"How 'bout those memory exercises when we get home?" she asks.

"How 'bout you just tell me and see if I remember? Photos, text messages?" I throw back, a little more aggressive than I wanted it to be.

She doesn't say a word until we're in the driveway of my house, we hop out and I'm walking up the steps with Maddy by my side, unlocking the door and letting me through. It's colder than I expected. It doesn't quite feel the same since Mum and Dad passed away in the incident. I still have to decide the funeral date, but I don't know if I even want to bury them six feet under. I'm only eighteen and you expect me to just sign funeral plans and call it a day?

From what I was told from Maddy, they died in the car as it was blazing orange flames. I, on the other hand, was twenty metres away, passed out bleeding out, barely alive.

I wanted to share the description for the rewrite of [Don’t Lie To Me], retitled to [A Taste of Baby]

Imogen doesn’t remember anything that happened before she woke up in the hospital—bruised, left arm broken, scratches and scars all over her body. They’ve told her she was in a car accident… Deep down she doesn’t believe that, she wants the truth and will stop at nothing to get it, even if it means she’s risking her safety.

Brady just wants his baby back, but so far she’s amnesic. He knows something she doesn’t, and she knows it, he can tell by the random questions she bombards him with every time they stumble upon each other. He has to stay away from her for her safety, but how can he when she finds ways to see him and he’s to gullible to believe her?

How’s it sound to you? Would you read it?

I’m slowly working on Chapter 10 of Write Me A Letter, I’m probably going to post the rest of the chapters all at once so it’ll be a while before you actually see an update. WMAL is probably my main focus rn, then maybe PKF …

Just thought I would let you all know.

          xoxo, dylan
